I've had a deep connection with animals since I was born and have had the pleasure of sharing my entire life with a wide variety of animals. My current pack of animals includes two dogs, two cats, and chickens.
I started volunteering at vet clinics when I was 10 and have over 25 years’ experience working in the animal care field. I have been studying canine nutrition, canine behavior, and holistic therapies. I am certified in small animal massage, canine nutrition, general canine behavior, pet first aid/cpr, and reiki.
I am committed to keep learning, exploring, questioning, seeking, experiencing and sharing all along the way.

Bear
A beautiful Aussie/Border Collie mix was a rescue in Feb 2015, at the age of 6 months. He had very little socializing but with a lot of patience, learning (on both ends of the leash), love, rules and boundaries, Bear has become a confident, playful, and smart boy! He enjoys meeting and helping care for all his canine house guests.

Evvie
We added our newest furry addition in Dec 2017, at 8 weeks old. Evvie, an English Shepherd, is smart, sassy, social, energetic, playful, and enjoys meeting new friends!

Pard
He was a small rescue kitten at the age of 8 weeks and was in need of some serious TLC. Pard is a wonderful, quiet, calm, easy going, and laid-back boy. He’s extremely dog-friendly, even dogs that have had no prior cat experience get along with his relaxed personality. Can be independent but enjoys playing with his dog buddies!

Kalii
She was another rescue kitten, at the age of 4 months, that was not healthy. The plan was to get her healthy, socialized, and then find a wonderful home for her. Well, her sweet, affectionate personality and playfulness with all the everyone won us over! She is social, chatty, and loves her cuddle time!

My wonderful man that’s behind the scenes and makes so many things happen! From support, to maintenance, to being a great play buddy to all the 4-legged guests! The dogs love his easy going, goofy, fun loving, playful attitude and always have a tail waggin’ time with him!

Raynee (1996 – 2013)
This wouldn't be complete without a small tribute to my sweet, wonderful Golden of 17 years. She was my biggest inspiration in loving, creating, and learning along the way. Without her, Dayna’s Dog Sitting would not be. She will always hold a special place in all our hearts and is dearly missed. |
